Some folks will say there is no way to “spot train”. I don’t think that’s true.
I get flabby arm wings that swing like half filled water ballons and I don’t like it at all! The good news is there is a way to tone up the arm even in your 50’s.

It is to “target” the flab using a unique combination of this personalised systematic approach.
It is very simple to do and ONLY takes a few minutes a day doing something you probably do anyway.
The Secret Arm Toner
**CAUTION** This method has been shown to increase fat loss efforts up to 7x the normal rate. Losing weight too FAST can be VERY unhealthy.
This is what I do. I have a special (Stel’Air Brand) walking weight vest that comes with very soft weights that you can either carry or wear in the vest. You can wear the vest with absolutely no added weight OR you can add 1.1kg at a time.
Unlike other types of weight vests this one has been made special for bigger folks (Big boobs and bellys). The vest is adjustable and will cinch snugly to the body to minimise movement.
I wear the weighted vest AND carry the weights that come with it and do arm exercises at the same time.
Losing Weight Too Fast
Because the weights are removable you don’t have to worry about it being too heavy to walk. Just add some weight to the vest AND the soft weights can be held in your hands to do arm exercises while you walk too. This way you BLAST the flab in two ways.
Triple Your Fat Burning Efforts
Back to the whole “Can’t spot train” thing other trainers will tell you. The reason I don’t believe it to be entirely true is because every time I need to tone up or drop the fat off something ~ I completely focus on whatever that problem area is. Butt, arms, legs – doesn’t matter. It works for me every time.
Of course the most effective way to drop fat is to do a complete exercise and eating plan. That is why the Stel’Air Weight Vest is so perfect. The total body exercise from wearing added weight while walking and then doing the focus and TARGETED upper arm exercises at the same time really shows RESULTS!
The Best Plateau Buster
If you have ever been hung up on a weight loss plateau you know how frustrating it is. It seems that only after a few weeks of successful efforts everything comes to a grinding halt. One reason for this is because of your weight loss. I know, sounds weird doesn’t it?
Here is what this means. (and you don’t have to take my word for it – you can check any calorie burning calculator)
For example assume you are female, age 55, are 5’5″ tall and start out weighing 200 lbs. Your exercise is walking at a moderate pace for 30 minutes, you can expect to burn around 270 calories.
But if you lose 10 lbs your calorie burning ability is reduced.
Here is the math:
If you now weight 190 lbs you
This means that as you lose body weight you will either need to increase the TIME spent exercising, or increase the intensity of your exercise. A very simple way to increase the intensity is by adding the weight to your walk.
But – if you wear the Stel’Air Weight Vest with the 10 lbs. Or wear 8 lbs and carry 2 lbs – you are now burning at the same old rate of 200lbs! BOOM! Off the plateau – just like that!
The Stel’Air Weight Vest is comfortable for most sizes AND comes with a
Hi, I’m planning to start using a chair peddle exercise but now I’m interested possibly in a weight vest after reading the above article. My husband and I want to use both items for everyday exercising for health reasons and not particularly for weight loss although I but not my husband do NEED to lose weight. My age is 81 and my husband is 85. He just found out today that he has a very low blood pressure which makes him very weak and unstable. Is it at all feasible for the two of us to do this type of exercising?
Hi Sylvia – Generally speaking the exercise you described is good provided you are healthy and conditioned for it. This is the type of question only your physician can really answer specifically for you. Your medical advisor will be familiar enough with your health needs to help you decide.
