This past year I turned 52 and my skin suddenly turned very dry, thin, and itchy. It was awful! Menopause SUCKS!
Using a skin cream wasn’t going to FIX the problem so I did some research. Cod liver oil was one of the recommended treatments. The vitamin D and A as well as the high content of Omega 3 fat was supposed to be very helpful.
Because I already had capsuled cod liver oil that I liked I just started taking two a day. It didn’t help. Upon closer inspection the capsules weren’t ALL cod liver oil and they had stuffed in alternate sources of vitamin D. This meant I wasn’t getting as much Omega 3 fats. So I switched to pure cod liver oil.
It tastes like low tide on a hot summer day… YUCK (super gross)!!
I took one teaspoon morning and night (every 12 hours) for two weeks. At the end of the two weeks my skin looked 10 years younger. The rash is gone. The thin skin look is gone.
I am mega-impressed.
Now I just take one teaspoon in the morning.
